This is the IMAX Rolling Stones movie by Martin Scorsese. I saw it today, and it is a blast.

It's hard to believe what Jagger does on a stage. The guy has the face of the 64 year old that he is. He's got the body of a teenager.

This movie has the songs for sure, but the Show is what this is about --

The songs are (stolen from the sound track site):

1. Jumping Jack Flash
2. She Was Hot
3. All Down the Line
4. Loving Cup (feat. Jack White III)
5. As Tears Go By
6. Some Girls
7. Just My Imagination
8. Faraway Eyes
9. Champagne & Reefer (feat. Buddy Guy)
10. Band introductions
11. You Got the Silver
12. Connection
13. Sympathy for the Devil
14. Live With Me (feat. Christina Aguilera)
15. Start Me Up
16. Brown Suga

And the list leaves off Satisfaction with which the Stones end the movie.

In IMAX you are in the front row. Plus, there is a really funny bit in the intro to Faraway Eyes. No spoiler here, but you will be laughing for a while afterwards. The Buddy Guy and Christine Aguilera bits are huge and fun. Think about Guy singing about champagne and reefers. It's a howl.

For you with IMAXes, GO! Even without IMAX I'm pretty sure this will be great.

Any 3D effects in this one?

No. There is a visual split, though. The first part of the movie, where Scorsese is trying to arrange the filming with the Stones is like a huge 4x6 television screen. It's a little odd, but he's doing to make a point.

When they get to the theater, it's more of the same with Clinton, Mrs Rodham and the guests.

But when the Stones dome on the stage, the screen explodes into typical IMAX vision. It's HD and up close. A great visual transition.
