From an email I received, inviting me to "The Duke Idea" next week in Boston:
"President Richard H. Brodhead and the Duke Alumni Association invite you to attend this premier event, the first in a series of events across the nation featuring Duke leaders in their field in discussion with the president.
Join alumni and friends as President Brodhead and Dean Blair Sheppard from the Fuqua School of Business engage in a wide-ranging conversation about the momentous changes in global markets and business, Duke's vision for the university of the 21st century, and how they will come together to change the world."
Does anyone know anything more about the program and/or its purpose (e.g., fundraising?)? Is anyone here going?
